After being blinded by an extremely bright light, Mammon automatically closed his eyes; but the light was too bright that even closing it was deemed useless due to the light’s ability to somehow even penetrate deep into his eyelids. But it only lasted for about less than a minute and when Mammon felt that the light was not so blinding anymore, he then started to try opening his eyes. It took a couple of seconds before his eyes eventually adjusted to the sudden change of the surrounding light. When Mammon was finally able to assess his situation and look at his surrounding, his eyebrows unconsciously narrowed.
