(Isabella) My head was throbbing, that was the only thing I knew, the only thing I could focus on. The dull yet sharp pulses seemed to ram right up the side of my head. Everything else was dark, everything else was quiet except for that throbbing pain that had just started. A whisper of a scent, something familiar, something that spread warmth through me and called me home. I focused on that scent, anything that could get me away from this pounding in my head, against my head. The scent got stronger and I savored it, wanting to bathe in it.
