I woke up in a strange bed and looked around to identify my surroundings. It looked like a hospital but why would I be in a hospital? I still wasn't seeing clearly but I couldn't identify the people near me. They were clearly discussing something.
I knew I was in big trouble given that mom and my step dad were here. I really tried my best to hide the fact that I was still bullied but they ended up finding out.
“Cathy, you're awake.” Mom said as she looked and saw me awake.
“Water.” I said. I don't know how long I was unconscious but my throat was dry and I urgently needed water to ease it.
Mom brought the water and fed me the water herself and placed the cup on the stand near me.
I looked at my step dad and the glare he gave me made me revert my gaze.
The doctor left my step
