Mom noticed the mood I was in for the very first time and my stepdad could sense it also. I hummed all the time as I washed the dishes and danced slowly toward the table.
"Okay, what's wrong? You're acting strange. did something good happen to you at school today?" She asked and I didn't say anything.
I wasn't planning on coming back home tonight but I just decided to do so Since it was my first time going on a dinner date and I didn't have enough fancy clothes back at the dorm.
"Nothing. I'm just in a good mood."
"Really? I hope it's because of a good thing and not because you insulted someone again. I'm honestly tired of visiting your counselor. The mints in his office definitely hate to see me coming," My stepdad said dryly as he sat down in front of the tv.
