The room still echoed with Axel's roaring condemnation, the words still hanging in the air like a dark cloud. Brianna's face twisted into a mask of sheer rage. Her eyes narrowed to deadly slits. She lunged for Axel, aiming for his throat, her nails poised to swipe at his jugular.
