Chapter Sixty-Nine: What's That Supposed To Mean?
Tristan POV:
The sight that greeted me as I stood at the perimeter of the Supreme Diamond Pack's territory was one of utter devastation. The dense, majestic trees that had bordered the pack's land for centuries now lay broken and scorched, their proud statures reduced to pitiful remnants. The underbrush was flattened, torn apart as if a mighty force had roared through it. It felt like a grotesque mockery of a battleground, a disconcerting masterpiece of chaos and destruction.
But the more I studied the scene, the more it began to feel...off. The attack was concentrated at the borders, a raw display of power that left the core of the pack untouched. No casualties, no real harm inflicted upon the people. Nothing like the Dark Strom Pack.
