As Richard had agreed with Maximus, he and Sarah went to visit Lea like they did every year and, as always, they brought her some presents.

Richard was looking forward to seeing his future mate. His wolf needed the reassurance that she was safe and fine; and he needed to be around her to feel a bit at ease, especially at those turbulent times.

Now Lea was thirteen years old, Richard still had five painfully long years to wait.
