"Why are you here? Why now? How can you just show up when-"
"I know this isn't the best timing. I just..." She looks over her shoulder at my dad and Melissa. "I made a mistake, Mary Kate. A huge mistake," she says, turning back to me and hanging her head.
I'm at a loss for words. All I can do is stare at her with my jaw on the floor. I feel Logan wrap an arm around my waist and I start to regain my composure. "Dad is happy now. We both are. You shouldn't be here. This isn't your home anymore."
"I know that, okay? Just... please, give me a chance to explain," she asks with tearful eyes.
I shake my head and turn to leave, but she grabs my arm. "Mary Kate-"
"She told you to leave." Logan and I snap our heads around to see Ashley standing next to my mom with her arms folded
