Chapter Sixty-Four
“Hey princess, you guys are home?” Cy asked.
“Hey, Cy. Yeah, we’re back.” I said, drawing my knees up to my chest and wrapping my arm around them.
“You should go outside. And look at this pretty sunset.”
“I’m already outside looking at it,” I said, looking up at the sky as I dragged my fingers through my hair. I could hear the rumble of a motorcycle in the distance. “Where are you?”
“Close. Why do you miss me, princess?”
“I don’t know about that.”
“Watch your mouth princess, I’ll start thinking you don’t like me.” He said as the rumbling grew louder.
I watched Cy pull up to the driveway, he came to a stop. Leaning over to punch in the code for the gate.
