Chapter Fifty-Four
“Leo, Cy. I, um, I need to tell you guys something.” I said, trying not to fidget as both of them looked at me.
“What is it, Izzy?” Cy asked, hooking his finger onto my plate and pulling it closer to his. Stacking them together.
“Something happened last night,” I said, looking over at Ian and he nodded his head at me. Letting me know that he was here no matter what happened.
“Putting it mildly, Isobel?” Leo said and I looked over at him. He took a bite of his breakfast sandwich, his brow lifted slightly as he waited for me to tell him what had happened.
I cleared my throat, swallowing hard. “Ian and I, we-”
Leo’s phone went off and he held up a hand, stopping me from saying anything else. He pulled his phone out of his pocket, looking at the screen. “It’s Brandy.”
