Third Person's POV
After leaving Priscilla's palace, Lance went to greet Lycan Clarissa and told her of his intention to bond with Adelaide.
Clarissa was delighted. "You've accomplished great things quietly. Two months ago, your mother was still worrying about your marriage. I didn't expect you and Adelaide to hit it off on the battlefield. She's a good girl and deserves your care."
Lance said, "Lycan Clarissa, I will treat her well. However, Priscilla seems to dislike Adelaide and might intimidate her at the palace in the next few days."
Clarissa immediately sensed Lance's indirect plea for help.
With a gentle smile, she reassured him, "Don't worry. I'm here, and Adelaide won't be wronged."
Lance expressed his gratitude sincerely, "I leave it all in your hands. Thanks, Lycan Clariss
