I sighed into his chest.
“I should go prepare dinner now.”
He nodded and let go of me.
I walked into the kitchen with a smile on my face.
I was so happy as I prepared some steak.
It was as if I was having such a wonderful dream…a dream I never want to wake up from.
But the most joyful part was that it was real.
It was as if all the pain and sadness has been washed away to be replaced by happiness and joy.
As I started chopping the vegetables,I felt his arms curled around me in a back hug.
I grinned.
“You should sit down.Dinner will be ready soon.”
“I want to stay like this.”He whispered into my ear.
I grinned and then I thought of something.
I turned around and playfully pointed the knife at him.
He lifted up his hands and laughed.
“Easy….my love.”
