A breath escaped Ava and unexplainable emotion filled her chest when a massive black cloud surrounded her. She was running from the ruins until she tripped. The cloud was a heavy shroud of darkness, encircling her. It kept moving until it slowly lifted her up. Suddenly, a very familiar voice whispered warmly to her ears. “You. Are. Mine.” These words sent tiny volts inside until she was able to open her eyes. Looking around a very unfamiliar place, an abnormal terror began surging into her heart. Something she had not felt for quite a long time now. Without hesitation, Ava tried her best to get up only to fall back to the ground with a loud thud.
