“Are you really sure that the place you’re leading us to go to is safe and secured?” Black asked as his eyes darted towards Baron who was handling Ava a piece of bread at the moment.
“Feel free to walk away if you don’t trust us. No one forced you to come with us. No one even likes you here.” Baron answered bluntly as he straightforwardly met Black’s dark gaze.
Ava looked around and saw almost everyone looked down and pretended to just eat their own portions of bread. Deep down she knows that what Baron said is true. The reapers and Zmeus who are with them showed their aloofness and disdain towards Black during the past day that they’re all travelling together and she’s totally pissed off by it.
