Axel and Dean are still fighting. The two big black Alpha wolves are having losses on both sides, each inflicting damage on the other, but Dean is clearly out matched by the stronger alpha even with all his backup. Jade and the guardians are more backup than a thousand rogues could ever be. They are a true team. When one falls, they all feel it, but it also inspires something else within them. It isn’t just everyone for themselves as it is with his ‘pack’.
It was never going to be a coherent team, just grouping a bunch of individuals that have no idea how to work together, all of them living by themselves for extended periods, they are selfish and only look out for themselves.
