"The High Priestess says their archives contain only fragments about Void creatures," Selene reported to the assembled council. "Most knowledge about the Void was deliberately destroyed centuries ago. The ancient wolves believed that even knowing about it could attract its attention."
"Well, we've definitely got its attention now," Lyra muttered, gesturing to the map marked with attack locations. "Seventeen incidents in two weeks. They're getting bolder."
"The High Priestess did find one useful piece of information," Selene continued. "Void creatures can't maintain a presence in our world for long without an anchor. They need something or someone to tether them here."
