Hundreds of years ago
Magic-capable werewolves and vampires had concentrated all their power on trapping the spell coming from the witches while the battle was still ongoing.
Now the spell was floating on top of the fighters held by the shield. The shield was constantly supported by the vampires' and werewolves' magic.
The witches had to retreat from the powerful force of vampires and werewolves and finally ran off to save themselves.
The battle was won as the witches retreated. Everyone was cheering. Everyone was happy, but the spell casters who were directing all the power to hold the spell bounded.
Slowly the spell was starting to seep through the entrapment, and the energies of the ones who were trapping the spell were running low.
