Lucas's p.o.v
Mom calls me twice, I am having a presentation so I can't answer. An hour later I am calling her back. "Hey mom, sorry I was busy" I tell her. "Lucas. How are you son? I know today isn't a very good day for you or Makayla." she says. "Yeah, I sent Mak some flowers and a card. I am actually going to go home today to spend time with her" I tell my mother. "When did you send flowers Lucas? Did you send them to the bakery?" she asks me. 'Yes" I tell her. "Oh, the only ones I saw there were the ones that guy Ben gave her." she tells me. "Ben?" I ask. "Lucas, I have to tell you something. You know I am not one to gossip, but first I want to know if you and Makayla are in a serious relationship?" she asks me. "Mom, you know we are" I tell her even though I know we aren't official.
