Makayla's p.o.v
It's been a week and I have no idea what happened with the Michael and Ashley drama, but today we are all meeting at my grandparents house for a bbq. Everyone on the block is invited. I am so excited to see everyone. My mood has been very good lately. I am doing well in school and in my baking classes which I should be done with around the same time I graduate and get my highschool diploma. My dream of opening up my own bakery seems to be getting closer and closer. I need to talk to my parents though, especially dad because he knows how to run a business. He owns restaurants so I need to learn as much as I can.
I get to my grandparents house and there's already a bunch of people here. It's a late bbq. It is already 5pm. I walk to the back yard and I spot Lucas right away
