We arrived in Connecticut after several - far too many fr my liking - hours on the road: and we certainly did not spend them in peace. Since Alec was unavailable, all the responsibilities of the pack had fallen on Liam, who had therefore spent most of the trip (except for that brief interlude in which we had given vent to our needs) in video calls and meetings. I, on the other hand, studied a bit from the iPad on the topics for the exam I was going to have soon: it wasn't easy to study in the car, but when you had three kids, a job, and were a mother of a family, you learned to be okay with any place where there weren't people yelling "mommy mommy mommy" all the time. "Welcome," the Crescent Moon Gamma smiled as we got out of the car. Quickly, some wolves ran to get what few bags we had.
