Keith slowly opened his eyes and attempted to lift his hand, but he found himself too weak to do so. His gaze fell upon his mother lying on the couch, while his friend, Reinhart, was sitting on the chair next to his bed. Keith tried to speak, but his throat was parched. "Re..in…" he called. "Re..in..hart.." he called once more and slowly lifted his hand to tap his friend. Reinhart jolted in his place and opened his eyes. "Hi…" Keith weakly greeted. "Oh, my Goddess! Keith's awake!"
