"Aren't you enjoying the barbeque, son?" Adelaide asked, seeing her son staring outside the balcony. Keith glanced at his mother and smiled. "I am, mom. It was delicious. It's just that there is something on my mind," he said. He kept hoping Darryl would text or call him, but he had not. When did he start feeling this way? "What is it? Do you want to talk about it?" Adelaide asked and leaned on Keith's shoulder. "No, mom. I'm fine," he said. "Let's go back, shall we?" he added and gave his hand to his mother.
