Darryl stared at his Uncle. The older man smiled and dragged his wheelchair towards him. "Is that you, Darryl?" Cove asked. The servant left and the guards stood waiting outside the room. "Yes, it's me," he answered. "It's been so long since I last saw you," Cove said and smiled, but his eyes were watery. "You grew up to be such a fine man. You looked like my brother Damon so much," he added as tears streamed down his face. "Darryl, f-forgive me," Cove said and held Darryl's hand. "Forgive me for what I did to your father…to my brother," he added, bawling his eyes out. "Uncle…" Darryl began but couldn't seem to find the right word to say. His heart was aching. He was close with Cove and his family, but because of what he did, the bond they had vanished easily. "I hate you," he sa
