Alpha Walker was silent for a while - he seemed to be contemplating something, and I left him to think in peace because I didn't think that anything I could say would be as important as whatever it was he was thinking about.
After a few minutes, he spoke again.
"Sienna, I'm not sure what the outcome of this is going to be, but I know that I have to try. And even if it doesn't work out... if I can't find a way to rescue you....I will always remember how you made me feel last night." He paused, and I could see the sadness in his eyes, but he shook his head slightly and continued. "I can't bear the thought of not being able to hold you again."
