Alpha Walker had clearly made his mind up, but he was willing to explain himself when Isadora questioned him, and his logic made everything he said sound perfectly reasonable to me.
"You realize exactly how crazy you sound right now, don't you?" Isadora asked, and Alpha Walker smiled.
"I don't think that has ever bothered you before, has it? And I don't care how crazy I sound - I am sure this is the right thing to do; we should have told the Pack from the beginning... I was just...." he swallowed nervously, "I was ashamed before, but I'm not ashamed anymore."
Isadora seemed satisfied with his explanation, but it made my heart ache.
"You were ashamed of me..."
"Sienna, no. That isn't what I meant. I meant...I was ashamed, but it wasn't because of your past."
