We gathered Greta and Adan quickly but the moment we stepped inside the meeting room, I began pacing. Telling Greta that her big bad brother was back to take her home with him would destroy her. She wasn’t afraid of many things, but he was at the top of her list. Greta knew that despite whether she went with him or not, Brayden would burn this home of ours to the ground as well until we were forced to move on. So many innocent humans including wolves would die. I didn’t bring my people here to have them relive what we went through years ago.
Riven was such a big support, calming stroking my back as I gathered the courage to tell Greta what was going on. I’m sure she heard his voice, but it has changed so much over the years that I’m not sure if she recognized it was her brother.
