Chapter 3

JANA

I couldn't take my gaze away from Alpha Ashton as he walked slowly towards me, eying me as if I were his delectable food for tonight.

Meeting my mate is a once in a lifetime experience for me. I'm pleased, joyful, and proud to be standing in front of my alpha, ready for him to claim me as his.

I've been looking forward to this for a long time. I'm feeling uneasy, and I'm not sure why I have this strange feeling that something horrible is about to happen right now.

"I had no idea I'd discover you, my mate, here in my mother's quarter," he remarked, brushing a few of my hair strands in my face.

"Alpha…" I say, as he brushes against my flesh.

The undeniable powerful bond connection flooded all over my body. When he started trailing his finger down my cheek, my neck, and back to my lips, I quivered.

"Can you tell me your name?" he asked as his hand suddenly grasped my breast and began to rub it as if he were holding a ball in his fingers.

"Jana, say your name, our names," Anaya said quietly in the back of my mind, but I remained still.

I couldn't control my body anymore. It appeared that he was seducing me, and as his mate, I couldn't resist him because my body was so eager to offer anything this alpha desired at the time.

"Hmmm," a soft moan came out of my mouth after he licked the spot on my neck where his markings would be imprinted.

"Tell me, my mate, what is your name?" he asked me once again.

"I-," I didn't finish the words that were intended to come out of my lips because he abruptly seized my dress and yanked it back, revealing my naked body, which he'd been eying since then.

I raise my two arms and cover my nude chest with a little cover that hides my breasts.

"As my mate, everything in your body belongs to me and mine alone," he declared.

I can smell his desire and obviously see my influence on him, yet something inside of me is not at ease right now. My body appears to be warning me, and my instinct is driving me away from giving myself to him.

I can't deny the powerful bond that drew me to him to be one as we needed each other. The lust is visible in his greedy eyes. He was staring at me hungrily, as if he was about to devour me.

Yes, he's my mate, and he may claim me whenever he wants, but based on his behavior in front of me, I know I need to control my emotions and talk to him first.

My wolf Anaya is aware of it. She is trying so hard to connect with our wolf mate, but I guess Alpha Ashton overpowers him.

"Anaya, help me," I whispered to her.

"I can't think clearly right now, Jana, just go with the flow first," she replied, her gaze falling on our mate, who had simply taken off all of his clothes and tossed them on the floor, uncaring about whether they were dusty or not.

"Alpha, do you mind if we talk first?" I asked uncomfortably.

His eyes flickered and he gave me a warning look, indicating that I should be quiet and not say anything he doesn't want to hear.

"You don't have the right to interrupt or, worse, dictate to me just because you're my mate, bìtch," he snarled.

"But-" As he grabbed my hand and held me on his lap, I couldn't finish the words I intended to say.

He yelled at me. "Stay still!" I bit my bottom lip and lowered my gaze.

I can't argue with him since I'm his mate and the pack's lowest-ranking wolf, especially now that he's using his alpha tone on me, which I find disgusting because I'm his mate, his Luna, and I'm supposed to be his equal.

I'm not sure why I can't keep my emotions in check. Suddenly, a few drops of my tears fell down my cheek. I'm sure it'll add to Alpha Ashton's rage because he doesn't like this drama of mine.

He grabbed me and threw me on the bed. I couldn't stop him like my original plan since he was so eager to kiss me and do everything he wanted all over my naked body.

"Do you think I wouldn't know who you are, Jana?" he seductively murmurs in my ears.

"I know you from head to toe. It's a good thing you're my mate because I can smell you're still a virgin, and I'm thrilled that I am the first one who can break your hymen. Allow me to taste you. I vow I'll give you the most pleasurable experience you've ever had. I can offer you a whole night, so stop wasting our time with your stupid chatter and let's start fuckìng each other," he sneered.

I have to blink a few times before I comprehend what Alpha Ashton is really saying. He only wanted my virginity, and after he satisfied himself, he would dump me like garbage. Anaya, my wolf, is heartbroken since our mate failed to treat us properly. He doesn't regard me as his mate, and I know what's going to happen next.

"I'm sorry, alpha, I can't offer myself to you, so please let me go," I murmured as I struggled to fill my dress, but he tightened his grip on my hand.

I anticipated my mate's unexpected movement. I realize I'm disrespecting him by refusing to have sèx with him, but I'm not going to let him use me like that.

"You dumb girl! Who are you to turn me down? Don't you realize I'm going to punish you?" he yelled angrily in my face.

"I don't care if you surrender yourself or not. As your alpha, you have to do whatever I want, and having sex with me is your new job," he added, his hard stare resting on my skin.

I tried so hard to push him and he hated it. I heard a tremendous growl from him. I try to kick him so he will free me, and leave me alone but I failed.

"I'm your mate and your Alpha. Behave yourself if you don't want me to take off your head right here, right now!" he warned me angrily after hitting my face.

When my father was angry, I used to hear him curse. I may appear fragile, yet I am a strong woman. I will not let this beast abuse me, even if it means losing my life. He didn't expect me to fight back, I'm not sure where I found the strength to shove him and roll over the bed, so he ended up on the carpeted floor.

With one hand, I tightly gripped my dress. I can't fix it or wear it here since he already tore the zipper on the back of it.

When Alpha Ashton approaches, I take a step back. I can see it in his eyes that he despises me. His enraged expression indicated that if I didn't flee from him, my life might end in his hands.

"Who do you think you are?" he yelled violently, spitting on the floor.

"You're nothing more than a worthless Omega. You're no different than the slut I've fuckèd in my bed whenever I want, so don't waste your time and lie down on the bed with your legs wide open!'

He yelled angrily, I cowered, and even Anaya, in the back of my mind, was terrified. We both know that after this, Alpha Ashton will punish us or, at worst, murder me since I keep refusing him.

I can't deny that he wants me because I'm his mate, and there's a deep bond and desire that is hard to resist. He needs me to keep his strength up. He'll be a stronger and more powerful Alpha now that he's found me as a mate.

"I'm not a fool, and I can't be your whorè. You can kill me, but you will never be able to use me!" I muttered this as I dashed to the open door.

When I hurried across the great hall with my tattered garments, I could feel every pack member's gaze on me.

"Catch her!" Alpha Ashton commanded.

My eyes widened when my father emerged from the crowd with a solemn expression. I can't tell what's on his mind because he just looks at me with hatred.

"I'm sorry, Alpha. I'll take her to the dungeon for interrogation," my father replied as he grabbed my arm.

"There's no reason to question her because she destroyed my celebration. She walked into my room and began to charm me. She pleaded and flaunted her body for just one night with me!," Alpha Ashton stated coldly.

My mouth hung open. I wanted to explain, but I knew no one would listen, so I kept silent. I'm at a loss for what to do in this situation. I'm humiliated by my own mate and this is something that pains me most.

"I'm surprised you had the audacity to seduce my son, Jana!" Luna Ashana remarked, disgustedly staring at my body.

"I took such good care of you, and I don't believe those rumors, yet here you are. You reveal your true self to us! Throw her out and never let her back in!" she commanded, looking at me with her narrowed eyes full of disgust.

While they humiliated me, I noticed several joyful faces staring at, and watching. Most of the time, no one attempted to help me. I'm used to it already, because I've had a horrible reputation in this packland since the beginning, which I'm not sure how to handle anymore.

I just looked down at my feet and didn't try to justify myself. It's pointless because they're all deaf and won't listen to my explanation.

I didn’t respond to any of their accusations, and I keep my emotions to myself because I don't want them to see me crying while my father drags me out. I'm not going to give them the joy of ruining my life. I've had enough of receiving hatred and nasty remarks thrown at me.

"I, Jana Collin, reject you, alpha Ashton Blake, as my mate and Alpha," I whisper in the air as the massive door closes completely.

My father stopped dragging me and stared at me with his narrow eyes, so I know he heard me, but I don't care about it anymore.

I'll show them they're wrong! I'm not a slut, and I don't seduce my own mate.
