I awoke in a dark place I'm unfamiliar with. My head was throbbing so hard that I felt dizzy and found it difficult to get up.
I look around, but I don't see anything. I use my ability to smell something around me, but I can smell anything no matter how hard I try.
"What happened to us, Anaya?" I quickly asked my wolf, Anaya, but she did not respond.
I mindlinked with my mate, but I felt disconnected. Everything seemed to change, and I had no idea where I was or what had happened to me after Missy suddenly appeared in front of me and threw some smelly ashes on my body.
