Many things have changed since the attack. Alpha Romano became more possessive as he frequently checked on me. He was involved in the training of all pack members, both men and women, beginning at the age of fourteen, so they could protect themselves anytime there was a treat at the pack.
He improves his pack's security because he doesn't want to lose too many lives in the event of another attack. Everyone is aware of it now, and they are grateful to their Alpha Romano for doing all this to protect them.
