After Yi and Xi part ways with the elder couples, they perambulate the sunflower field one more time before rambling deeper into the back part of the resort. The path is narrower, but it doesn't lack beauty. It is accompanied by bushes and trees all along. A short while later, the two reach the foot of the mountain.
"This is it," says Yi.
"Let's go on the quest to search for the waterfall," says Xia.
"Yep. That's what we are here for."
Along the way, they encounter different kinds of flowers. Some of them are those they have never seen before.
"Look at this, Yi. It's so beautiful." Xia bends down to touch the white fringe of flowers that stand around his knees. Each has a shedload of slim and curvy pedals that are miniature and soft to touch.
