Finally, we were on our way to Phoenix Moon to get Katie back. My father had finally grown some damn balls and made a decision. The fact that Katie had been taken under false pretenses was enough to declare war without the council’s approval. Dad made us wait one more day while he contacted our closest ally, Hunter Creek Pack. Alpha Earl Adams is one of my Dad’s closest friends. Earl’s son Jordan is a friend of mine as well. Earl didn’t hesitate at the chance to help us get Katie back. He was no fan of Alpha Hank and was more than glad to see him fall.
