Hank’s POV
We finally arrived at the border gate of Hell’s Canyon Pack. Blair and I fled Phoenix Moon when Alpha Nathan Brody attacked. I felt it was better to leave than to let Nathan Brody think he won. Blair told me running away did, in fact, help Nathan win. But I didn’t see it that way. Here I was at my ally’s pack. He would help me defeat Nathan Brody and win his land.
I stopped at the gate, and a guard stepped forward. “May we help you?”
“Alpha Hank Hudson of Phoenix Moon here to see Alpha Patrick Simmons, please,” I told him.
“One moment.” He replied and stepped into the guardhouse.
