CHAPTER THIRTY SIX
“Meredith,” she was woken up by her mother shaking her shoulder gently.
“Good morning Mum,” she groaned as she attempted to sit. Peering out of the window, she sighed, noting it was just the morning fog covering the entire town.
“Good morning sweetie. Now, I know you must be still upset by yesterday’s events and personally I’m but there is someone here to see you,”
If it was Brian then she was definitely not ready to see him. After that sick stunt he pulled yesterday before the whole town, she was not sure if she would even want to see him at all. Who the hell did he think he was not apologizing for his lying, arrogant ass and instead announcing she was his? He could go to hell for all she cared.
