Reid looked at the happy couple smiling at each other lovingly. He was probably never going to have what they now had but he was happy for them. He fished out the locket from beneath his shirt pocket. He opened it, looking at the photo inside with a sad smile.
“I wish you could see how Meredith resembles you Nicole. She is the exact replica of you even though she doesn’t know about it yet. One day, I hope she will find you. But right now she is happy with her mate Brian. And by the way, she knows her real father is Vance but she doesn’t realize that Mrs. Laurent who she believes is her mother is hiding very deep, dark secrets from her.
