CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR
“Calm down. Trust me, everything was just in your imagination,” Sarah tried yet again but all this was proving to be fruitless.
“I saw a large leopard-I mean dog or whatever that scary animal was and it f*****g bit me. I know that I’m not imagining that,” she insisted.
When her gaze fell on Brian, she rushed over to him, tagging his palms with desperation in her eyes.
“You were right there with me Brian. You must have seen it too,” She couldn’t have imagined something that vivid. She was goddamn sure that-whatever it was- had been unusually large and it bit her, almost literally ripping her apart.
“I’m sorry Meredith,” a look of confusion hit her eyes and Brian choose that moment to hit the back of her head rather forcefully.
