“Karla, Ellaire! Both of you come out of your hiding place this very second, I do not have time for your tantrums.” I said walking into my twin daughter's room.
They refused to reply, loving their game of hide and seek. I listened carefully and heard their soft chuckles from underneath the bird.
I slowly approach the bed, to avoid letting these mischievous girls out of my sight. “Karla, Ellaire. That's enough playing around now, come out. You can't be late for your cousin’s birthday dinner, that would be very rude.”
They giggled again, a little louder than the first. Pausing by the bedside, Ellaire's feet covered in brown sandals were sticking out of the bed.
