"Rosaline, where have you been?" Damon's voice startled me as I walked into my room. He was sitting on my bed, his arms folded across his chest. Clearly annoyed by something.
"I searched everywhere but I couldn't find you," he said, his tone tinged with irritation and worry.
I took a deep breath, trying to keep my emotions in check. He was the last person I wanted to see right now. I just wanted to be left alone.
"My whereabouts are none of your business. Excuse me, please," I said, hoping he would take the hint and leave.
But he didn't budge. "I'm not leaving until you say something," he insisted, his gaze fixed on me.
I sighed, knowing that I couldn't avoid the conversation any longer. "There's nothing to say, Damon. I just needed some time alone to clear my head," I explain
