TWO MONTHS LATER As I walked out of the packhouse one morning and headed toward town, I noticed all the new construction happening on the outskirts. Since we had recently experienced an influx of new residents, Landon and I thought that building one-story units might be a better option rather than constructing numerous new houses to accommodate everyone.
