As soon as we walked back into the packhouse, I saw Harper crying in the living room. When she looked at me, her distress intensified.
That’s when I realized I was covered in blood. I quickly went upstairs to my room.
I headed straight to the bathroom to take a shower and wash off all the blood, then I changed into some fresh clothes.
When I walked into the bedroom, I found Landon leaning against the wall, waiting for me.
“Is Harper alright?” I asked.
“Yeah, just a bit in shock,” Landon replied.

“Sierra found out about the baby,” he explained.
