It didn't take long for everyone to bare their necks to their Alpha in respect and apologize before they quickly retreated from the meeting hall. They would have acted the same way if someone had done that with their mate. However, Landon, Hayden, Harper, and I stayed where we were, with Addy on the other side of the stage.
“Hayden, bring your sister to my office in half an hour,” Landon demanded.
“Yes, Alpha,” Hayden replied.
Landon and I then left the meeting hall and walked back to the packhouse, with Landon seething the entire time. I didn’t say much because I knew she was going to force my hand in this situation. I really hoped she would just back off and take the hint, but she wasn't going to. For some reason, it seemed impossible for her to let go until she got what she wanted.
