**HAYDEN’S POV**
I comforted Harper for as long as she needed, but when Landon walked into my office and saw the scene between us, he raised his eyebrows in surprise.
As soon as Harper sensed his presence, she turned to look at him and wiped the tears from her eyes.
“I’m going to go home. Hayden, can you let me know if you hear anything?” Harper asked.
“Sure,” I replied. She then left my office, pushing Landon out of the way as she did.
Landon entered my office and sat down on the couch. I looked at him, and he seemed a little off to me.
“What’s going on between you and my sister?” he asked.
“We’re just friends. She doesn’t want to talk to you right now, so she’s coming to me,” I explained.
“Well, I guess that makes sense. She f*****g hates me right now,” he responded.
