Ariel smacked her lips and looked up at Rex with large glittering eyes, “Can you not go?”
“No” Rex replied with a sentence.
“Fine, you won I give up” Rex frowned slightly; he quite liked to see Ariel’s defeated appearance, as he found it adorable.
They arrived at the hospital together. Unfortunately, when they opened the door, they saw Timothy Ann sitting beside the sickbed holding a flower. Ariel clenched her jaw at the sight that greeted her.
She looked at Rex and realized the reason why Rex insisted on following her to visit her Aunt.
Her heart sank as she saw Timothy Ann looking sullen. Rex could feel the tension in the air; Timothy Ann looked up at Joana Emery’s with bloodshot eyes, his voice barely above a whisper.
“Well, I have just found out the hospital where your Aunt was”
