“She did wash her face, alright, and while she was at it, she even got a facial; look at her face glowing,” Jane chipped in, making others bowl in laughter.
My face turned red at their remark. It was bad enough that we vanished together, the marks on my neck played a crucial part in confirming their suspicions.
