They came seemingly in the blink of an eye, a stampede of snarling mindless beasts that smashed the doors wide open and started attacking anything they could see. Before I knew it, I had grabbed Medea and started running towards the others who were all in the sitting room. Together. Easy prey for these wolves who had gone past logic and reason, where the only thing coursing through their veins was the fury that fueled them.
