Phil paced back and forth in his room the next day.
"Lisa!" he yelled.
"Yes, sir?" Lisa poked her head in.
"Did you send the flowers?" he growled.
"Yes, sir, and they sent me a confirmation email saying that the flowers were received."
"I see," Phil said grimly. Jodie hadn't said anything about it. Not even a simple text saying thank you. Was she really going to make him work this hard?
