Jodie checked her outfit one more time before her date with Brian.
She smoothed out her dress and adjusted her necklace as she checked her reflection in the mirror before heading out the door.
She felt a flutter of nerves in her stomach even though she had no intention of taking this farther than the first date.
Maybe the fact that she had to reject him was what made her nervous.
