Valentina’s pov
We were now in late September, because I knew exactly when I conceived little Nicolás my due date was October first. I was the size of an elephant right now, so all I had on was dresses. It was still warm at this time of year but not uncomfortably so.
I stopped working 3 weeks ago, and I didn’t leave the house much. It was easier to be in slippers most of the time than wearing actual shoes. I did have a few pairs of slide sandals to wear if I did venture out with Benji or to the shops.
I had been enjoying being in my new home, curled up in a comfortable chair beside the fireplace in my library as I sketched new designs. My creativity was flowing right now, especially with maternity and children clothes.
