Valentina’s pov
I was nervous about today, although most of the time I was finally mentally, at other times, my mind got caught up in what had happened. I can still remember the fear I had that day, I was terrified that Nicolás would be hurt. I have had several nightmares about it as well.
The crowd that gathered at the courthouse was ridiculous. You would think it was the Kardashian’s here today and not us. I had been advised not to talk to the press, so I looked straight ahead and just kept walking as they shouted to us.
I could not make out what the hell was going on when Clint Deacon appeared and started to kick off, and I didn’t care. I just kept going until we were safely inside and ushered into the witnesses' waiting room.
