"We don't mean trouble. Whoever or whatever you are, you can show yourself." The elder spoke for whatever was hiding in the bushes to show itself. At first there was no response, neither was there a movement. We kept observing all around us, to make sure it doesn't catch us unaware. Something tells me it won't be friendly. Suddenly, we heard a growl from the same area the thing had moved about in the bushes beside us. I was still in my wolf form but the elder was in his human form, preparing to shift in order to protect me, as I was weak from severe hunger and hadn't eaten anything for dinner yet.
