At first there was no response, neither was there a movement. We kept observing all around us, to make sure it doesn't catch us unaware. Something tells me it won't be friendly.
Suddenly, we heard a growl from the same area the thing had moved about in the bushes beside us. I was still in my wolf form but the elder was in his human form, preparing to shift in order to protect me, as I was weak from severe hunger and hadn't eaten anything for dinner yet.
