Sukuna:
I was exhausted. The jobs were beginning to take its toll on me and so was keeping the relationship with Rhoyda. It was like she didn't want to be around me like that. It didn't bother me, but it definitely had an affect on HE. After school, I didn't even bother to stop to conversate. I had other problems to deal with.
"Hey Dai!" Liam shouted my name.
I sighed before I turned around and waited for him to come to me.
"Where's your boy at?" I asked him.
Liam sighed before he shrugged.
"He went off with Natasia somewhere." He told him. "I normally hangout with him, but today, he wanted to spend time with her."
"Hm...Well, I'm heading to my house, if you want to hangout?"
Liam nodded and I turned and walked over to the car that was waiting for me. We got in the backseat and Jum turned to look at us.
"Where to, Boss?" He asked me.
I rubbed the bottom of my chin and looked at Liam.
"You want to go to my club?" I asked him.
Liam smiled and nodded. I motioned my finger at Jum and he took off immediately. He drove us to my gentleman's club and stopped in front of the front door. Liam and I got out and headed towards the door. Of course, my bouncer was there, waiting for us.
"Um, does he have ID?" He asked me.
I looked at Liam and Liam nodded his head.
"I have it." Liam told him.
The bouncer moved out of the way and we both walked inside. Soft music escaped the place as soon as we walked inside. Liam was astonished by how good the place looked. Then, his eyes moved to the women.
"Wow." He breathed out.
"Beautiful, right?" I asked him.
The women were gorgeous. Absolutely exotic and let's not get started on their bodies. Big breast, small waist and thigh hips and thighs. There was no way I couldn't have a club with horrible taste of women. It wouldn't even sit right with me.
"They're sexy as hell." Liam said as he walked over to a dancer and circled around her.
The dancer smiled before she left to go what she had to do.
"Oh, so you came?" Belle asked as she walked down the stairs towards us. "How do you like it?"
"Sis, you have good taste." I told her. "There is no questioning you."
Belle and I eyeballed each other before she turned to Liam.
"Liam, right?" She asked.
"Yes." Liam nodded. "How are you?"
"I'm good. Just trying to get this club right before tonight."
"What happens tonight?" Liam asked me.
I rolled my eyes before I turned around and headed straight to the bar. I was definitely going to need a drink at that moment. As I walked over to the bar, my eyes scanned the whole building. Dimmed Neon lights. The bar was even set up, perfectly. She had one of her boys working the counter. As soon as he seen me approach, he stopped what he was doing and bowed his head to me.
"Boss." He said as he leaned back up. "How are you doing?"
"Duri." I said his name. "Belle brought you up here?"
"I came today. She said she needed a... Better bartender for the club."
"I guess we did."
Duri stopped talking and pointed to the whiteboard above his head.
"What do you think?" He asked me.
I turned my eyes up to the list of drinks he had up there. Jello Shots- Strawberry, lime and orange flavor. Margaritas, White Russian, Mai Thais and many more. He had written about two hundred drinks on the whiteboard. However, the problem was if the people were going to be able to see it.
"Um," I sighed, then pointed up at the board. "Maybe you should put that on a menu for them to see personally instead of the whiteboard."
"What's wrong with the white board?"
"The writing is too small. I'm sure half of the people in this area have to wear glasses."
"Okay, then I'll make it bigger."
"Duri, just put it on paper and put it in a place where they are able to hold it and see it. Make about 20 of those, please?"
Duri threw his arms up and walked from behind the counter.
"Fine." He said to me before he left.
He left the bar and I sighed. So much for that drink, I thought to myself.
"You okay?" Liam asked me as he sat on the other barstool beside me.
"Tired." I told him.
My phone rang in my pocket and I just completely ignored it. Liam chuckled and tapped the bar counter.
"Ignoring Rhoyda?" He asked me.
"It's nothing." I told him. "Besides, she knows I have to work."
The phone rang again. Again, I didn't answer it.
"That doesn't seem like it's nothing." He told me.
"What does it seem, then?" I asked.
He chuckled again and turned his attention to Belle, who was conversating with a couple of the dancers. I raised my eyebrow at him and shook my head.
"Are you sure about that?" I asked him.
"What?"
"Belle. She's a feisty one. Are you sure you can handle that one?"
He looked at me and his eyes wasn't anything else, but serious. I shrugged my shoulders at him and turned around, leaning against the bar counter.
"Go ahead and talk to her." I told him.
He got off the barstool and stopped.
"What do I say?" He asked.
"You never talked to a girl before?"
"Not one like your sister."
"One thing she likes is for someone to be theirselves. If that's not you, then you don't have a chance."
Liam glanced at me and nodded, then he walked over to Belle and the two began to conversate. My phone rang in my pocket once more and that time, I decided to answer it.
"Yeah?" I answered it.
"Why did you just leave?" Rhoyda asked.
"Why do you care? You of all people are good with just leaving."
"I told you I had to go."
I smirked as I got off the barstool and headed over to bathroom.
"Sukuna, don't do this." She told me. "I just..."
"You what?"
I pushed the bathroom door open and walked in.
"I had to go and you know that."
"Yeah, you told me. However, I'm getting a different vibe from it."
She got quiet all of sudden.
"Where are you?" She asked me.
"My job."
"Which one?"
"The gentlemen's club."
"I'm coming to see you."
I smirked again.
"Don't bother. You didn't want to spend time with me, so why should I even bother?"
"Sukuna, please? I want to see you. I miss you."
I dropped the smirk and sighed.
"I'll have Joo-Won come get you, okay?"
"Okay, baby. Bye."
I hung up and put my phone back in my pocket. Before I even had a chance to leave, HE appeared out of nowhere.
"Are you coming to complain to me now?" I asked him.
"You know why I'm here, Son."
"Rhoyda."
"I didn't give you an opportunity to f**k things up."
"I'm trying to figure out what's wrong."
"Isn't it obvious?"
I turned to face him and his black eyes scanned mines before he laughed out loud.
"I think you have too much on your hands." He told me. "You need to have one of your men take over. You had two jobs and one of them isn't doing good because you're trying to focus on your friends and your job. Did you forget your woman?"
"No, but she's been acting f*****g different and I don't want to deal with that."
"That's because she doesn't know anything about love. Neither do you."
I continued to stare at him.
"You need to get her love stronger than it is. She's fallen, but she feels you're not even sure about it."
"She's never told me anything."
"Last night when you was with her?"
"You were watching me?"
"No, I could hear it in her voice. When you see her, ask her for yourself instead of having me tell you. You're a grown man and still don't know what love is?"
"I don't love her."
"Demons are incapable of love. They feel it would weaken them. That's not the case."
I sighed and walked out the bathroom. HE reappeared in front of me and shook his head at me.
"Remember, I brought you up here." He told me. "I can definitely bring you back down if you are so itching to be back by myself."
"I never want to be by your side again."
"Then, make it right."
He looked me up and down before he disappeared. I walked out of the bathroom and headed over to Joo-Won.
"You okay, Boss?" He asked me.
"Can you go get Rhoyda, please?" I asked him.
"On it."
Joo-Won left, immediately and I stood there, looking at the club, wondering if we could make it perfect before tonight. Whatever Belle had planned for it.
